Were any of the missing taken against their will?

Asked 29 Oct 2026 by ·Part of Are the deaths and disappearances on the list connected?·3 answers·0·0 following
Three answers, none aheadNone is ahead yet. See what would settle it.

Where it stands

Three answers have been proposed. None is ahead on the evidence yet. Three are still possible.

Why it matters

Podcasts and posts ask whether the missing were kidnapped. For McCasland, Chavez, Garcia and Reza the record is what sheriffs, police and searchers found and said, and what families said in public; an abduction would leave traces those investigations look for[1][2][3][4].

What would settle it

  1. Follow the still-open missing-person cases of Monica Reza (LASD Missing Persons Unit), Anthony Chavez (Los Alamos police, inactive since 6 October 2025) and Steven Garcia (Albuquerque police) for any finding or sighting.
