Geography, Book 2, chapter 3
Strabo, 1917. The Geography of Strabo, vol. 1 (Loeb Classical Library).
Strabo's critique of Posidonius. At 2.3.6 he praises Posidonius for citing Plato that the Atlantis story may not be a fiction, and reports Posidonius's preference for that over saying "its inventor caused it to disappear, just as did the Poet the wall of the Achaeans".
What it's used for here
Primary text for Posidonius's view that the Atlantis story may not be fiction, and for the remark that its inventor made it vanish as Homer did the Achaean wall (2.3.6).
