Remarkable Photograph Of The Marfa Light
William R. Corliss, 1987. Science Frontiers 51, May–June 1987.
A short item in William Corliss's anomalies newsletter. It describes a time exposure of a light taken by James Crocker in September 1986, about 10 miles into Mitchell Flat south of Highway 90, with a tripod-mounted SLR, a 50 mm lens at f/1.8 and EL 400 colour film, for under three minutes, with three other observers present; lights at the upper right are thought to be cars on Route 67 about 10 miles away. The online page shows the photograph, credited © James Crocker.
