What Marfa Lights Probably Aren't
Karl Stephan, 2006. American Physical Society meeting abstract, 2006.
Meeting abstract by Karl Stephan of Texas State University. It reviews intensity, position and movement data collected by James Bunnell since 2002, says headlights and mirages are visible from the site but easy to distinguish from the phenomenon, finds that methane combustion could supply the energy for many observations but not all, and rules out antimatter and evaporating black holes.
What it's used for here
Meeting abstract (APS Texas Section, 2006) in which Stephan reviews Bunnell's data and weighs headlights, mirages, methane, antimatter and black holes.
