The Mystery of the Texas Ghost Light
Paul Moran, 1957. Coronet 42(3), July 1957.
A one-page Coronet piece describing a single light in the Chinati Mountains, seen from Highway 90 between Alpine and Marfa, that vanishes when approached. It says settlers first reported it more than 70 years earlier, reviews mica, swamp gas, mirage, foxfire and uranium, and concludes that no one knows what it is.
