Sammlung 101 – City of Bremen, Kunsthalle Bremen and Russia (ArThemis case note)
University of Geneva Art-Law Centre, n.d.. ArThemis, Art-Law Centre, University of Geneva.
A legal case note on the 2000 exchange: the Amber Room mosaic "Sense of Smell and Touch" (1716) and an 18th-century chest of drawers, confiscated in Bremen and Berlin after the mosaic was offered for auction on behalf of Hans Achtermann, were handed to Russia on 29 April 2000; Bremen received the "Sammlung 101" drawings on 30 April 2000. Sets out the 1990 and 1992 treaties, the 1995 Duma moratorium and the 1998 Russian law.
