Exploring potential impact-induced magnetic signatures at the Tunguska event epicenter using UAV-based magnetometry

M. Takáč, G. Kletetschka, N. Hasson et al., 2025. Earth and Space Science 12(7), e2024EA004194.

The first detailed magnetometer survey of the epicentre, by drone over about 30 km²; anomalies follow known geology, some align with the presumed trajectory (about 300°), but the authors cannot attribute any anomaly to impact remagnetisation and call for palaeomagnetic sampling.
