The Tunguska event and Cheko lake origin: dendrochronological analysis

Rosanna Fantucci, Romano Serra, Gunther Kletetschka et al., 2014. International Journal of Astrobiology 14(3), 345–357.

Basal-area-increment analysis of 23 larch and spruce samples from the 1999 expedition: trees near Lake Cheko that germinated after 1908 grew vigorously and continuously, unlike trees in the forest, which the authors read as consistent with the lake forming in 1908.
