A possible impact crater for the 1908 Tunguska Event

L. Gasperini, F. Alvisi, G. Biasini et al., 2007. Terra Nova 19(4), 245–251.

Acoustic imaging and cores of Lake Cheko, about 8 km NNW of the epicentre, show a funnel-shaped floor and deposits the authors read as an impact crater formed by a secondary fragment in swampy permafrost ground. Gives the event as an explosion 5–10 km up releasing 10–15 Mt over more than 2,000 km².
