Revised stratigraphy and chronology for Homo floresiensis at Liang Bua in Indonesia

Thomas Sutikna, Matthew W. Tocheri, Michael J. Morwood et al., 2016. Nature 532: 366-369.

New excavation shows the 2004 ages came from younger deposits cut into an erosional surface. The skeletal remains and their deposits date to about 100,000-60,000 years ago; stone artefacts attributable to H. floresiensis range from about 190,000 to 50,000 years.
