The search for MH370 and ocean surface drift (Parts I–IV)
David Griffin, Peter Oke, Emlyn Jones, 2017. CSIRO Oceans and Atmosphere, for the ATSB.
Four CSIRO reports (December 2016 to October 2017) modelling the drift of the flaperon and other debris with ocean-model currents and with replica flaperons tracked at sea, concluding that an origin near 35°S on the seventh arc best fits the arrival times and places and the absence of debris in Australia. Part III also examines satellite images from 23 March 2014.
