Could Solar Radiation Pressure Explain 'Oumuamua's Peculiar Acceleration?
Shmuel Bialy, Abraham Loeb, 2018. The Astrophysical Journal Letters.
Proposes that the acceleration is solar radiation pressure, which requires a mass-to-area ratio of about 0.1 g per square centimetre: a sheet 0.3-0.9 mm thick. Shows such a sheet could survive interstellar travel and suggests it could be a natural fragment or an artificial lightsail. ApJL 868, L1.
