Spitzer Observations of Interstellar Object 1I/'Oumuamua

David E. Trilling, Michael Mommert, Joseph L. Hora et al., 2018. The Astronomical Journal.

A 30.2-hour Spitzer integration at 4.5 microns on 21-22 November 2017 did not detect the object: a 3-sigma flux limit of 0.3 microjanskys, an effective diameter below 98, 140 or 440 m depending on the thermal model, an albedo above 0.2, 0.1 or 0.01, and upper limits on CO2, CO and dust production lower than any before. AJ 156, 261.
