The Triangle

Murfin (2023) describes 'the Triangle' as a three-way junction of tracks at the foot of the mesa, where the series' team reported anomalies and drones failed. The point is an OpenStreetMap contributor's (2025, mapped from imagery and OpenTopoMap) and is not confirmed by a primary source. Not the 'triangular pattern' of three flattened-grass circles in the Shermans' 1996 account, whose position was never published.
