The K2 dips stand out in two independent reductions under a symmetric null

An independent dip search recovers the published dips in two separate reductions of the K2 pixels. Against a sign-flipped null that treats dips and brightenings alike, K2SFF has 21 events of 1.5 hours or longer at ≥5.5σ against 6 bumps, and EVEREST 19 dips against 4.
