Hattusa (Boğazköy)

Hittite capital; findspot of almost all Hattic texts and of the Kalašma tablet

Hattusa is a city in the record of Hattic, Kassite and the half-read languages of the cuneiform archives, placed to about 1 km.

Three events on the site happened here, between 1199 and 2023: The Hittite capital is abandoned and its tablet archives, with the Hattic texts, are buried, and later Würzburg announces a new Anatolian language on a tablet from Hattusa, Bo 2023/12.

The Kalašma tablet Bo 2023/12 was found on the north-west slope of Büyükkale, between Büyükkale and Ambarlıkaya.
