Oğuz Soysal is turkish Hittitologist, long at the Chicago Hittite Dictionary and now at Marburg, whose Hattischer Wortschatz (2004) and later papers define what is securely known of Hattic vocabulary., and appears in the record of Hattic, Kassite and the half-read languages of the cuneiform archives as turkish Hittitologist, author of the standard Hattic lexicon (2004) and co-editor of the Ortaköy bilinguals.
Two events on the site involve Soysal, from Oğuz Soysal publishes the Hattischer Wortschatz, the standard Hattic lexicon (2004) to Aygül Süel and Oğuz Soysal publish the first Hattic-Hittite bilinguals from Šapinuwa (2007).
Two questions rest in part on what Soysal did or said, among them “What language family, if any, does Hattic belong to?”, which stands open: 6 answers, none ahead.
