The 27 or so fired-clay objects sampled for thermoluminescence between 1973 and 1985: inscribed tablets, face urns, phallic and bisexual idols, lamps and bobbins. Their dates fall into Iron Age to Gallo-Roman, medieval and twentieth-century groups, and two laboratories disagree on the same tablet. Sample numbers of the form 7nnnnn (Risø), GF-nnn and 984.2.nnn (Oxford) are given in the dating literature.
