Benjamin Sass argues for a ninth-century date; Michael Mäder presents the first computational word-boundary analysis
Sass's chapter redates the inscriptions to about 900 to 830 BC from their affinities with early Byblian alphabetic texts; at the Berner Altorientalisches Forum in June 2019 Mäder presented the Unicode-transcribed corpus and its sequence analysis, published 2022.
