Seismic refraction profiles around the Sphinx (Dobecki and Schoch, April 1991)

Refraction lines on the ditch floor in front of, beside and behind the body, published as interpreted velocity-depth profiles. The raw traces have not been released. Harrell (1994) re-read the published velocities; no one has re-processed the data or repeated the survey.
