What it's used for here

LREC-COLING 2024, pp. 13712-13721, CC BY-NC 4.0. Treats fragment identification as text matching over the eBL Fragmentarium (about 27,000 transliterated fragments); a binary bag of character n-grams (n up to 3) with the overlap coefficient performed best; a test on the Maqlû incantation series had an expert review the top 300 of some 25,000 candidates and found three unidentified manuscripts (K.18050, Sm.1215, Sm.1852). Code: github.com/ElectronicBabylonianLiterature/ngrammatcher. Used for how the Fragmentarium's matching works and what it yields.
