Modelling the KIC8462852 light curves: compatibility of the dips and secular dimming with an exocomet interpretation
Mark C. Wyatt, Rik van Lieshout, Grant M. Kennedy et al., 2018.
What it's used for here
MNRAS 473, 5286. Shows dips and the Kepler-era fade can share one exocomet population on an eccentric orbit; a 16 per cent century fade, if optically thin, must have ended before the 2010 WISE 12-micron measurement, and the transiting material lies between 0.05 and 0.6 au.
