Extinction and the Dimming of KIC 8462852

Huan Y. A. Meng, George Rieke, Franky Dubois et al., 2017. The Astrophysical Journal 847(2), 131.

Swift, Spitzer and ground photometry from October 2015 to December 2016 show the star still fading, by about 22 mmag per year in the ultraviolet and 5 mmag per year at 3.6 to 4.5 microns. The wavelength dependence is less steep than interstellar extinction, pointing to circumstellar material.
