KIC 8462852 Faded at an Average Rate of 0.164 ± 0.013 Magnitudes per Century from 1890 to 1989

Bradley E. Schaefer, 2016. The Astrophysical Journal Letters 822(2), L34.

A light curve of 1,338 B-band magnitudes from Harvard photographic plates, 1890 to 1989, showing a fade of 0.193 ± 0.030 mag over the century while check stars stay flat. Argues that dips and fade are one ongoing process and that a comet-family model would need an implausible number of giant comets.
