The decline of Late Bronze Age civilization as a possible response to climatic change
B. Weiss, 1982. Climatic Change 4(2), 173–198.
Proposes that drought drove Luwian peoples out of western Anatolia early in the 12th century BC and that they were among the Sea Peoples, and tests whether such a drought pattern is physically possible using Palmer drought indices from 35 weather stations in 1951–1976.
