William F. Edgerton, John A. Wilson, 1936. University of Chicago Press, Studies in Ancient Oriental Civilization 12.

English translation of the historical inscriptions of Ramesses III at Medinet Habu. The Year 8 inscription (Plate 46, p. 53) says that the foreign countries "made a conspiracy in their isles", that no land could stand before them "from Hatti, Kode, Carchemish, Yereth, and Yeres on", and names the confederation as the Peleset, Theker, Shekelesh, Denyen and Weshesh.
