EMBLA 2002: an optical and ground survey in Hessdalen
Massimo Teodorani, Gloria Nobili, 2002. Project Hessdalen / CNR Istituto di Radioastronomia.
Report of the two-week August 2002 expedition. Photometry gives a luminous power of up to 100 kW; the light profile does not look like a plasma; maxima are attributed to clusters of light balls; spectra show no resolved lines but a three-peaked feature that might be artificial lighting or blended lines (possibly silicon); a ground sample contained a micrometric iron sphere.
