NIDS's necropsy and laboratory report on a cow found with its left eye and ear removed on a Uinta Basin property (not the ranch; the owner is anonymous). Pathologists found the cuts were made with a sharp instrument with no sign of heat or cautery; the report notes one investigator had examined 16 mutilation cases in the Basin.
