Abandoned Ship: The Mary Celeste
Jess Blumberg, 2007. Smithsonian Magazine.
The November 2007 account of Anne MacGregor's investigation for the Smithsonian Channel film The True Story of the Mary Celeste: the nine empty red-oak barrels, the 3½ feet of water and the dismantled pump, the coal dust and refit debris, the course change north of Santa Maria in Solly-Flood's notes, the chronometer error placing the ship about 120 miles west of her reckoned position, and Phil Richardson's ICOADS drift modelling.
What it's used for here
The only accessible written statement of the 2007 analysis; the film itself is the primary presentation.
