A fast radio burst associated with a Galactic magnetar

C. D. Bochenek, V. Ravi, K. V. Belov et al., 2020. Nature 587(7832), 59–62.

The same burst, ST 200428A (FRB 200428), seen by the STARE2 array at 1281–1468 MHz with a fluence of 1.5 ± 0.3 MJy ms. Its energy is 40 times less than the weakest extragalactic FRB then known, and it coincided with an X-ray burst.
