Radiocarbon Dates of Old and Middle Kingdom Monuments in Egypt

Georges Bonani, Herbert Haas, Zahi Hawass et al., 2001. Radiocarbon.

The 1984 and 1995 dating campaigns: 454 samples of charcoal and organic matter from the mortar of Old and Middle Kingdom monuments, including the Great Pyramid. The dates average about 100 to 200 years older than the historical chronology, which the authors attribute to old wood.
