A possible generating algorithm of the Voynich manuscript
Torsten Timm, Andreas Schinner, 2020. Cryptologia 44(1): 1–19.
Uses network analysis of word similarity to argue that the Voynich text is meaningless, and proposes a simple self-citation procedure a medieval scribe could follow without tools. Text made this way reproduces several key statistics of the manuscript, including Zipf's laws.
