Bloop source region, between Bransfield Strait and the Ross Sea
Antarctic coast (approximate location)
Note
Placed from the description only. PMEL puts the Bloop's source, by its arrival direction, "between Bransfield Straits and the Ross Sea, or possibly at Cape Adare"; the line follows the Antarctic coast roughly from Bransfield Strait through the Bellingshausen and Amundsen seas to the Ross Ice Shelf, and stands for that whole stretch. Cape Adare is mapped separately.
