The stone triangle

No surveyed position is public and the triangle's fate is not recorded in the sources read. Placed on the south shore due south of the money pit from the descriptions: 'on the edge of South Shore Cove' (Fortune, from the 1937 Roper survey); 'in the grass just above high-water mark on the south shore', 210 feet from the money pit according to Harris, or about 300 feet according to Johnson. The point is 77 m (250 ft) from the money pit point.
