The Cave-in Pit
sinkhole (flooded)
Note
The hole that opened under Sophia Sellars's oxen in 1878 and was dug to 52-55 feet in the 1890s. OpenStreetMap maps it as a small pond named 'Cave In Pit' (way 389528181) between the money pit and Smith's Cove, on the line that MacPhie and Wonnacott (2006) and Fortune give for the supposed flood tunnel.
