Placed from the description only. The accounts put the wreck on shoals off "Timia" point in the kingdom of Aru, after the fleet passed Pasai on the north-east coast of Sumatra, on the night of 20 November 1511; no position was recorded and none has been confirmed by a find. The point lies off the coast between the two and stands for the whole stretch.
