The Serabit rock inscriptions at Mines L and M (Sinai 349 to 375)
About thirty rock-cut panels, tablets and fragments found at and above Mine L and Mine M from 1905 to 1935, most in the form of Egyptian round-topped stelae, several showing the god Ptah. The longer ones (Sinai 349, 351, 353, 357, 360) carry the only multi-line texts in the script; many were cut from the rock and are now in Cairo, the rest remain in situ and have weathered.
