Laser absorption spectra of Martian air drawn into the rover's sample cell, run directly or after enrichment, with the housekeeping data for the foreoptics chamber. The record holds the background of about 0.4 ppbv, the four readings averaging 7.2 ppbv in 2013 to 2014 and the 20.5 ppbv reading of June 2019; every claim and every challenge rests on these spectra.
