Anne Draffkorn Kilmer

Anne Draffkorn Kilmer is american Assyriologist (born 1931), University of California, Berkeley; author of the dyadic realization of h.6 and of Sounds from Silence (born 1931), and appears in the record of Hurrian songs of Ugarit as assyriologist at Berkeley who published CBS 10996 (1960), synthesised the Babylonian theory texts (1971) and read h.6 as dyads with repetition counts (1974).
Two events on the site involve Kilmer, from Kilmer publishes the Nippur list of fourteen string pairs, CBS 10996 (1960) to Kilmer publishes her dyadic reading and h.6 is performed on a reconstructed lyre in Berkeley (1974).
Five questions rest in part on what Kilmer did or said, among them “How do the notation terms align with the sung syllables of the Hurrian text?”, which stands open: no answer ahead yet.
