## What it's used for here

The standard sign list (210 signs reduced to about 30 core shapes with variants) and the first systematic corpus, built from Vinča, Turdaș (Tordos), Banjica and Divostin material; Winn's own verdict was "pre-writing", not writing. Calgary: Western Publishers, ISBN 0-919119-09-3. Source of the sign numbering used in Sproat's Vinca.xml corpus.
