# Atlantida (L'Atlantide)

Pierre Benoit, 1920.

A novel, not a theory. Its characters learn from "Denys" of Miletus that the central part of Atlantis did not sink but "corresponded to the Tuareg Ahaggar", where Antinea, "the last descendant of the Atlantides", rules; one of them argues for "the hypothesis of the Saharan sea" and its "three girdles of water".
