# Crantor and Posidonius on Atlantis

Alan Cameron, 1983. _The Classical Quarterly_ 33(1): 81-91.

Argues that it is "virtually demonstrable" that Plato made the Atlantis story up, and sets out to remove one of the props of belief in it: the idea that Crantor and Posidonius took it as history.
