# Sea level and global ice volumes from the Last Glacial Maximum to the Holocene

Inversion of about 1,000 sea-level observations for the past 35,000 years: sea level fell to 134 m below today by 21,000 years ago and rose through the main deglaciation from about 16,500 to 8,200 years ago, more slowly during the Younger Dryas.
