# Strange Lights in West Texas

Bunnell's book of what he considers his best photographs and video of genuine Marfa lights, 2003–2007, including infrared images from a modified camera. He separates the lights from traffic, mirages, ranch lights, aircraft beacons and a tethered blimp and argues for a real phenomenon with electric-plasma and burning qualities and a geological cause.
