# More than a vulture: A response to Sweatman and Tsikritsis

Jens Notroff, Oliver Dietrich, Lee Clare et al., 2017. _Mediterranean Archaeology and Archaeometry_.

The excavation team's objections: pillars were moved and re-used, the buildings were probably roofed, the proposed date is 700–1,000 years older than the oldest radiocarbon date from Enclosure D, and the sample of pillars is selective.
