# Statistical Structure in Indus Sign Sequences

Tanishk Tiwari, 2026. _Proceedings of the 6th International Conference on Natural Language Processing for the Digital Humanities_.

Analyses a corpus of Indus inscriptions with visual clustering of signs, entropy and divergence measures and a neural sequence model. It reports direction-dependent and structured sign sequences that random generation does not easily explain.
