# Improved Decipherment of Homophonic Ciphers

Malte Nuhn, Julian Schamper, Hermann Ney, 2014. _Proceedings of the 2014 Conference on Empirical Methods in Natural Language Processing (EMNLP)_.

Refines the authors' 2013 beam-search solver for homophonic ciphers so that it needs a far smaller beam, and uses it to decipher the Zodiac-408 cipher quickly and the second part of the Beale cipher.
