# Comprehensive refutation of the Younger Dryas Impact Hypothesis (YDIH)

Vance T. Holliday, Tyrone L. Daulton, Patrick J. Bartlein et al., 2023. _Earth-Science Reviews 247, 104502_.

A review of the whole evidence base by 13 authors from geology, geochemistry, impact physics, palaeobotany and archaeology. Concludes that no crater dates to the onset, that the proxies have problems of identification and are not unique to the boundary, that few high-proxy sites are well dated, and that there is no evidence of continental catastrophe, population decline or a single-moment extinction.
