# Chronological evidence fails to support claim of an isochronous widespread layer of cosmic impact indicators dated to 12,800 years ago

David J. Meltzer, Vance T. Holliday, Michael D. Cannon et al., 2014. _Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences 111(21)_.

Audits the age control at the 29 sites where proponents report the boundary layer. Several have no age control, others irrelevant ages or flawed age-depth interpolations; only 3 of 29 fall within the proponents' own window for the Younger Dryas onset.
