# The atmospheric fragmentation of the 1908 Tunguska Cosmic Body: reconsidering the possibility of a ground impact

L. Foschini, L. Gasperini, C. Stanghellini et al., 2018. _arXiv:1810.07427_.

Order-of-magnitude fragmentation calculations calibrated on Chelyabinsk; favours a rubble-pile asteroid from which a boulder was stripped before entry and excavated Lake Cheko, and excludes a compact asteroid ejecting a metre-sized fragment at the burst.
